I’m a capable, adaptive and very experienced A-Class Surfacing Chief Engineer within the automotive industry, with over 40 years’ experience building and leading teams to deliver world class surfaces.I have been fortunate to work within many design departments for several major global companies over this time and have vast experience of Design and Engineering processes. At JLR I reporteddirectly to Gerry McGovern, the Land Rover design director and Ian Callum the Jaguar design director.During several changes of ownership from the Rover Group through to Tata group, I have built up a strong network within companies such as BMW, Volvo, Bentley, Aston Martin and many European suppliers.I have always been driven to help and support the development of others, and the team that I built at JLR is recognised as being world class, with industry leading standards. The results of this work over the years can be seen within the quality of the current product.I have proven ability to deliver programmes, supporting key gateways from the advanced surfacing stage through to final production surface release. I’m extremely conscientious and will always do what I think is right for the business and am extremely proud to have been part of Jaguar Land Rovers success in recent years . I have now been part of the Lotus Design team, responsible for Digital Modelling, Visualisation and the Verification process for the past 12 months. It's been an exciting challenge and I look forward to helping a great brand grow in the coming years.
