I have been a director for 5 years and in late 2014, I was asked by my follow directors to become the chairman of the board. Tui Ora Limited has been a business focusing on delivering support programs and health and social service contracts. It is 100% Maori owned - by the 8 tribes from Taranaki. It now has annual revenues of many millions and growing with some 200 staff. Tui Ora is now at a business life-cycle and has corporate capability to seek a fundamentally new approach to creating value for Taranaki and rural families.
