Assist IT Director in managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, networks, applications, and security. Worked with IT Director to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Provided end user support in conjunction with the deployment of IT systems. Acted on behalf of security FSO for high level escorts and security implementations.

Was employed by the Unisys Corporation as the sole onsite technical support specialist. I supported the Federal Systems Executive Office, all Unisys Corporate and Federal employees, and their contractors in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I also have supported several hundred Federal remote users across the United States. I technically supported these contracts and managed myself for three years.

Provided tier I and II technical support for federal and military clients for Enterprise Content and Records Management Organization (ECRMO) at General Dynamics IT (GDIT) Received and logged problems reported by clients. Provided remote and onsite technical support for document management software such as; Laserfiche 7/8, Oracle UCM and TRIM Tower. Hardware support included micro film scanners, BBH and Fujitsu scanners. Provided clients with patches, fixes, licenses, utilities, updates, etc. Processed, troubleshoot, and closed tickets in the system, as well as assisting other senior level engineers to provide deliverables to clients under contract. Worked directly with clients to provide deliverables and support for their secured document management systems. Was directly responsible for planning and executing several migrations and upgrades which included scheduling, migration testing, software upgrades, documentation, client coordination, user acceptance testing and outreach.

Responsible for the Joint Interoperability Test Command Information Assurance laboratory, configuring desktop and laptop computers for interoperability scanning and vulnerability testing. Maintained laboratory rack servers and tape backups, updating and configuring servers and Cisco routers as needed for laboratory use. Responsible for the installations of Microsoft, Linux, Sun, and other operating systems. Conducted installations of prototype hardware, updating and maintaining when needed for testing. Developed and maintained database applications for inventory retention. Secured desktop and laptop computers as needed when vulnerabilities were discovered, using current Defense Information Systems Agency Information Awareness Vulnerability Assessments. Developed several databases in MS Access for the senior manager of Integrated Supply Chain Management. The databases are designed to help task leaders on small projects to manage lessons learned, configuration management, and risk management. Created graphical user interfaces encoded in Visual Basic 6, designed reports and queries. Worked independently for the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) for the Paperless Ordering and Receipt Transactions Screens (PORTS) web application of the Fuels Automated System (FAS) program. Provided both functional and technical support to include database administration and access requests by following the DOD and DESC security regulations, Change Management, and Product Assurance guidelines. Maintained and administered security (including issuing user login access) for thousands of users in several DESC fuels logistics management systems, including Bulk PORTS and Ground PORTS, as well as Web DPA, and the Requirements Manager (RM) for Direct Delivery, Bulk, Natural Gas, Facilities, PR Coordination, Into Plane and Bunkers.

Provided technical support troubleshooting issues with software and hardware. Responsible for activating licenses for the Proseries tax software product line. Placed orders for new and current corporate customers. Marketed product to customers, producing profitable results. Ranked top ten in customer service. Seasonal contract for tax season only

Assisted in technological relocations from location to location, supporting the re-installation of all network and desktop equipment. Occasional diagnosis and repair of Cisco routers and switches, and Windows 98 / 2000 client workstations.
