    Contributed to the ​T-Moble Family Mode​ app, which was released on June 29th, 2018. I was on a team of 4 developers that successfully launched this product on an extremely aggressive schedule. We adapted ​Circle Home​ to meet the needs of T-Mobile. My contributions included combining the CIrcle Home app with Circle’s two child apps to produce a one app experience. I integrated T-Mobile’s login SDK into the app and implemented a large number of new views. I am currently still working on this project. Before Family Mode, I upgraded Circle Home to the latest version of AFNetworking and worked on various bug fixes and UI polish.

    During my time at Spokin, I worked through various design prototypes before finally building the production app from scratch in Swift. I worked directly with server side engineers, designers and hourly contractors to produce a finished app in a short time frame. I was primarily in charge of time estimates and source management for the iOS portion of the project. The app was released in May, 2017; I was adding new features and fixing bugs when Spokin hired a CTO and my position was eliminated.

    I was the Primary Engineer for the BonziTeam iOS app. I released version 2, which contained bug fixes and feature enhancements to the existing codebase. I then spent the remainder of my time there working on version 3, which was a completely new codebase written in Swift. This was a Universal app (the released version is iPhone only). Version 3 contains many improvements over the original, most notably using NSURLSession instead of RestKit for networking.Management didn’t have a lot of time for mobile while I was there, so I worked independently and made my own decisions. Because I had the freedom to do what I felt was right, I was able to learn a lot in a short amount of time. Because of this, and my previous years of programming experience, I believe I can demonstrate that I have capabilities that far exceed what one would expect from the short time I’ve been doing this.One of the unexpected joys of my time at Bonzi was being a mentor to their Android developer, a young man in his first job after college. I really enjoyed working with him and would welcome similar opportunities in the future.I was laid off due to Bonzi being acquired and the teams being consolidated. The other company already had a mobile team in Austin and didn’t need an additional person in a different location.
