Wayne's current focus is on managing working capital, contract management, risk management and strategic pricing. Prior to the acquisition of BKM Total Office by Red Thread in 2011, Wayne was Vice President of Finance and CFO of BKM Total Office for 16 years. Previously he was the CFO of Lubin Business Interiors which was acquired by BKM in 1992.Wayne was instrumental in the startup and growth of the BKM's Technology, Construction, Energy and Audio Visual divisions which helped brand BKM as the ultimate solutions provider and dominate the market. He served as the lead financial executive for four shareholder-owned entities involved in manufacturing computer support worktools, beauty products distribution, airport management and retail auto service centers.He is experienced in acquisitions and integrating the pieces from both the buy (6 acquisitions) and sell side (15 divestitures) to maximize value. He also spent considerable time managing divisions in California and selling them off as a key part of the exit strategy of the shareholders. In support of his local community, Wayne has been a commissioner of the West Haven Housing Authority since 2015 and became Chairperson in 2023, He helped restore credibility after a 2012 FBI raid and resulting federal convictions of the executive director and 3 others. Today the Authority receives the highest ratings from HUD. This federally authorized, locally managed entity with a $20,000,000+ budget has responsibility for providing housing to the elderly, disabled and economically challenged members of the community. The Authority manages 600+ housing units and 1,200+ Section 8 housing vouchers. It is the largest residential taxpayer in West Haven and its programs support $5,000,000 in property taxes paid by local landlords.
