We were heavily involved in Community relations such as Toys for Tots, Parades, Color Guard presentations and we were responsible for conducting funeral honors for current and former Marines in the State of Michigan and Northern Ohio. -

We had 25-30 Officer Candidates at any one time depending on the time of year and graduation schedules. My duties included; armory custodian, drill and ceremonies coordinator, freshman orientation coordinator and advisor to the drill team, rifle/pistol team. I also ran the physical training program and the urinalysis program. I taught introduction to Naval Science 101 as well as acting as an instructor at Officer Candidate School for one summer class. -

Those duties included installation of new computers, trouble shooting connection problems, accuracy of information flow, building web pages and updates to existing systems. Additionally, I was the responsible officer for over $2 million worth of deployable assets. -
