R^2 was among the first advisory firms to focus on hedging strategies for the energy sector. R^2 worked with many of the energy sector’s leaders and created state-of-the-art analytics used to manage hedging decisions. I continue to serve as an Advisor to the Board for AEGIS Hedging Solutions, a FinTech firm that enables companies to manage their commodity price and interest rate risk through leading software and advisory capabilities. In 2010 I patented the Performance Risk Management System, the backbone for the analytical process used by R^2 to advise clients. Between 2008 and 2020, the hedging activities of R^2's clients generated $12.8 Billion in net gains.
