To see a woman break down into tears when she realizes she not longer has to carry water for miles in a 20 litre container is not something you forget in a hurry.Writer. Really enjoying writing and especially now that I am getting published more and more. I usually have an opinion on things(big surprise to those who know me!!) and great fun trying to articulate my thoughts. Hoping my first book will be ready by mid 2016. Speaker. Started off speaking about my humanitarian work at my local church about 3 years ago and seems to be something I can do well. Have now spoken at a number of places and getting asked to do more and more. Can tailor a speech for most groups and usually based around my life experience and my opinions on things. Problem Solver/Product Designer. I have a reasonably unique ability to look at problems and come up with solutions that are usually simple. It's not an exact science and I don't always get it right. I'm not entirely sure how I even do it but I see things differently to most people and have developed the discipline to think through a process. Remote Water Expert. A developing skill that uses my problem solving ability to look for the best and most suitable option for pumping water in remote areas. Currently have good knowledge of a range of different self-powered water-pump options. Fits in well with my humanitarian work.
