Dual Post as Executive Officer/Sqn 2IC and Transport Officer.Executive Officer/Sqn 2IC:Mentored and managed 12 middle managers and 90 staff, ensuring they completed a full spectrum of military training objectives as a career manager. Facilitating in-service personnel maximising their potential in a structured career development plan. Resolved a raft of staff personal issues through communication and compassion to ensure the continued cohesion of the team.Conceived, planned and directed a multitude of training activities to develop the team to achieve its goals both in the UK.Successfully managed a fleet of 44 armoured vehicles maintaining 85% vehicle availability against a fiscal and resource-scarce environment. Ensured the organisation was compliant with all policy and legislation matters, through a detailed programme of management and assurance.Transport Officer:Responsible for a large MOD green fleet and civilian pool vehicles. Ensuring that all assets conform to strict servicing and inspection regimes. Advisor to the Head of Establishment on all driving matters, equipment care and legal requirements.Led for the delivery of all unit driver training, ensuring all personnel held correct licences and competencies whilst being trained and managed effectively in order to operate in a variety of environments.Responsible for delivery and assurance of all HAZMAT training.
