I execute tasks primarily under the general direction and supervision of the Global R&D Engineering Systems Manager. I Test and perform verification and validation of hemo dialysis products, coordinate and support a team of developers. Test and implement high quality components for dialysis equipment and related products. In addition, this position supports technical staff in the design and development processes, communicates, and interacts with Production, Failure Analysis, QS, and Technical Service departments.

Maintain a high level of product quality by identifying, notifying, and participating in projects that improves in-house manufacturing and/or vendor products. Assist in training junior staff members to analyze complaints through the Complaint Tracking System data base (CTS) in order to determine the probability that the reported problem is resolved; and if not, whether additional testing or information is required.

Analyze failed electronic and hydraulic components on the entire Fresenius product line down to component level. Generate a Failure Analysis report to Regulatory Affairs department. Support machine calibration, Preventive Maintenance several, 2008K - 2008T medical device.

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and support training of new biomedical technicians.
