As a Collections Manager, I oversee a team of 10 collectors to assure they are meeting their monthly collection goals. I am responsible for training, monitoring calls to assure proper customer service, running and analyzing daily reports and assisting with all other duties as needed. I work one on one with my team members to ensure they are achieving their personal goals as well as maintaining my own individual goals. I approve payroll and implement performance improvement plans as needed. I am a master negotiator as I am a second voice on problematic calls.

As a Healthcare Communicator, I assist patients and healthcare professionals to understand the various projects offered by a particular pharmaceutical company. This may include determining if the patient is eligible for a co-pay card for their specific medication, providing additional information regarding the particular medications program, and completing an enrollment with the patient and/or their loved one for their specific medication. I have been called on by my Supervisors to assist in other areas which involved contacting health care professionals and/or patients with resolutions to inquiries that could pertain to reimbursements and/or status of eligibility into co-pay card programs. Due to the sensitive nature of the information, strict confidentiality must be adhered to at all times.

As an Office Manager, my responsibilities were to process and assign incoming appraisal assignments to the real estate appraisers. I coordinated and scheduled appointments for the appraisers as well as answered incoming calls from customers and financial companies. I was also responsible for establishing and monitoring procedures for bookkeeping and record keeping.

As Retention Specialist, it was my responsibility to renew existing customer’s service contracts and offer new service promos offered by Comcast Business. This position required excellent communication skills as I was responsible for retaining customers who were looking to disconnect their business services. I was also called on to answer customer inquiries and send out disconnection forms when customers chose to terminate their service contracts.
