Blacktown City Council is a large Council located in Western Sydney. It is experiencing significant growth and development activity, with a current population of 365,000, which will grow to more than 520,000 by 2036. It has an annual budget of $650 million and approximately 2,000 employees.In my role I oversee Finance, Information Technology, People and Culture, Property Services, Corporate and Economic Development, Developer Contributions, Safety and Risk Management, Civic Events and Sister Cities and Governance and Corporate Business Services.Blacktown is experiencing a sustained period of transformation and growth, both as an organisation and a City. My role is instrumental to supporting the organisational change and development so our Council can support our Cities Growth, while continuing to operate sustainably and living within our means.
