Led weekly P&L and cash flow forecasting processes throughout the lockdown periods, modelling various DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) scenarios and highlighting potential drawdown availability risks. This was facilitated by detailed analysis of the ledger via utilisation of Qlikview and cash collection. Actively promoted cross team working between business partners and risk managers to drive profitable pipelines, balancing levels of risk against expected returns.

Managed a commercially focussed FP&A team of 10, which included Business Partners, proactively working with Commercial and Supply chain directors, a BI team and a Management Accounts team. Key stakeholders included the UK&I Excom, and the Group HQ team based in Paris. Within this role I implemented a suite of financial and non-financial KPI’s for Excom, which underpinned the drivers of P&L performance. This led to cross functional actions across the Excom team. In addition I collaboratively worked with the Commercial Directors on sales volume and margin rate insight, and across all the Excom team on detailed cost management. This was done by implementing cross functional cost management units with Excom owners. This led to discussions on detailed customer and product profitability with sales management, utilising the new Qlikview tools specifically designed and developed for the senior management team. I also drove the collation of the information required for the UK&I Business Reviews with the Group CEO and UK&I Excom team and was the first member outside of Excom to attend these reviews with a remit to be able to contribute to any financial information required during the meeting to enrich discussions.
