Wayne S. is a Retired. Colleagues describe them as "If there is a perfect person to work for or with, Wayne is that person. He provides direction, is supportive and truly listens to your ideas and suggestions. He never micro-manages or thinks his way is the only way. He has a wonderful sense of humor and uses it to inspire and build successful teams. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and is extremely successful at motivation and bringing out the best in his people, particularly the sales force that reports to him. I had the privilege of working for Wayne at both Countrywide and at Farmers Insurance. In both companies, when he was running the sales departments, sales consistently exceeded the goals set by senior management. And in both cases, when he left the department (for promotions/better opportunities), sales slipped and remained under goals. In other words, with Wayne at the helm of a sales department, that company is virtually guaranteed success. I would work for Wayne again in a heartbeat and so would most of the people we worked with at both Countrywide and Farmers."
