Main responsibilites are driver training in all types fire service vehicles, including assessing driver skills and abilities.Delivering, assessing and carrying out quality assurance in blue light response and non-response driver training in both light and heavy vehicles to ERDT/DVSA national standards.Accredited RTITB Instructor/Examiner to deliver operator training and testing in the following subjects, Counterbalance FLT, Demountable Container System (Hooklift), Rough Terrain Telescopic Materials Handler (RTTMH). Designing and delivering bespoke driver training courses for both the fire service and outside agencies such as North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) and Sellafield Fire Service.Delivering JOIFF accredited train the trainer courses to both internal and external organisations.Creating risk assessments and safe systems of work for all courses delivered.Carryout trailer training and off-road driver training in 4x4 vehicles to fire service personnel including NEAS.Ensuring that all drivers remain compliant to legislation and carrying ad-hoc quality assurance checks.Completing all driver records accurately ensuring they are compliant with company policy and legislation.Creating individual development plans bespoke to each student and ensuring they are completed within the agreed timescales.Qualifications:NFCC Approved High Speed Emergency Response Driving InstructorDVSA ADI registeredDVSA Vol Reg LGV Instructor (Expired)AET level 3ILM level 3 IOSHTransport manager CPC National RTITB accredited Instructor/Examiner in Counterbalanced ForkLift Truck (CBFLT), Rough Terrain Telescopic Materials Handler (RTTMH), Demountable Container System (DCS) and light vehicle winch.D32/33 NVQ assessor
