I am a dedicated, commercially minded and pragmatic commercial, procurement and supply chain leader with 23 years’ operational, managerial and strategic leadership experience across specialist, acute, community and mental health services. I also have a further eight years’ experience in NHS hospitality and facilities management services. My career has spanned both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, leading, advising and supporting internal and external teams through the exchange of knowledge and expertise, with the ultimate objective of finding solutions and improving services for the benefit of patients and staff.I am a passionate individual who understands the importance of non-clinical support services working with clinical teams to deliver high quality solutions and outcomes for the whole organisation, with patients at the heart of everything we do. My vision is to lead teams that specialise in delivering logical, strategically focused and practical commercial and procurement solutions, engaging with multiple stakeholders at all levels to ensure the product, service and/or solution meets the requirements of the brief.I have led a number of commercial, procurement and supply teams, aligning the function to the requirements of the organisation and wider network. I aim to get the best from individuals and teams alike, supporting them to feel positive about the important role they play and inspiring them to take that attitude into the rest of the organisation.
