Over the next 3 years we were the leading provider of point to point couriers for the advertising industry.This gave me a thorough ground up knowledge of the industry which serves me well in my role as GM of National Sales for ANC.

The idea was I was sent into specific areas that were light on volume and asked to identify and create additional sales opportunities. I was required to create and sell innovative flexible solutions. I was heavily involved in developing the sales strategy and the operational solution that resulted in us winning the transport business of a major Building Society that had been with Australia Post for over 10 years. I left the business to start my own local transport company.I quickly began to realise that a sale was not all about a rate it was about delivering value. I have focused heavily in this area over my time in the industry and apply these early lessons in my current position at ANC.

I was quickly moved into the city to look after the major clients where I retained and increased the spend of the existing client base while adding many significant new clients. The clients were many and varied as were the sales solutions, this is where I really started think outside of the square. I still apply these valuable lessons today.
