Creation and loading of disk images to streamline installation and upgrades for Windows 7, Microsoft Office software that were utilized on new and recommissioned Dell computer workstations. This included the utilization of EaseUS To Do Backup software to create and load required disk images for different workstations. I performed maintenance and salvaging of decommissioned work stations, These job functions included the removable of still viable peripherals fo possible future use as well as the proper destruction and disposal of obsolete media backups.

My main responsibilities consisted of one-color imposition in the prepress department of a major book printer. All of the work was done on G5 Macintosh computers working on the OS X operating system. All of the production work was done in Prinergy for plate direct output on Creo computer-to-plate systems. Preparation work was done using Adobe Acrobat to preflight and if necessary to make light modifications on pdf files for reprints and new books. We also used Preps to create impositions for different presses and book sizes. My work included some pdf creation and preflight work in Quark (8, 7, 6.5 & 4.0), InDesign (CS4, CS3 & CS2), as well as limited editing in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I also worked as a focus trainer for other operators in the one-color area and was responsible for reviewing their work. I spent a great deal of my time helping troubleshoot as well as working with other operators through any problems they might encounter.

My main responsibilities consisted of preflighting and modifying, if necessary, full-color layouts for a major book cover printer. The work was done on G5 Macintosh Computers working on the OS X operating system. The applications used were Quark 6.5, Quark 4.0, InDesign (CS2 & CS1 & 2.0), Freehand , Adobe Illustrator CS2 and CS1, as well as Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS1.

My main responsibilities consisted of creating, designing and working with layouts done in programs such as Quark, InDesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, Framemaker, and Corel. I had extensive experience working on both Macs & PCs. Job responsibilities included preparing and proofing layouts, customer service, downloading files from the internet, outputting negatives and maintaining an Agfa Accuset 800 Imagesetter. I also maintained a Graphline film processor as well as the computers in our layout department, loading software and archiving work on CD. Another responsibility was taking photographs with digital and conventional 35mm cameras and using those pictures in the printing process. I did some bindery work having operated an MBO folder, Standard Dynamics numbering machine, as well as a Heidelberg windmill letterpress. I occasionally took care of deliveries to our customers.
