The SEA4000 Phase 3 Air Warfare Destroyer project was placed on the government’s Projects of Concern list in Dec 2014 and the project reform review was conducted and completed in Dec 2015.Role:Reporting directly to the AWD Alliance General Manager (AGM), with a project reform brief to deliver the 3 ships and support system to the re-baselined cost (Approx. EAC $5B) and schedule (Ship 01 Jun 17, Ship 02 Jul 18, Ship 03 Dec 19). Established the AWD Alliance PMO to provide the project enabling services such as Project Governance, Project Management, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Resource Management, Contract Management, Quality Management, Acceptance Framework, IT network, Organisational Development and the Alliance Enterprise Management System (AEMS). Key Achievements:• Delivered HMAS Hobart to Provisional Acceptance and Operational Capability, delivered HMAS Brisbane to Provisional Acceptance. Supported the establishment of the initial sustainment capability in Sydney by providing Alliance delivery lessons learned and technical expertise. • Directed and drove the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) to re-baseline the program cost and schedule to the reform brief. Successfully controlled the program cost and schedule to provide significant savings against the reform budget.• Established the AWD Alliance Acceptance framework, including contractual requirements tracking, structured correspondence framework, technical and contract review processes and boards, customer, and stakeholder review processes. -
