Key Achievements:• Successfully led the rapid refresh of the core finance and supply chain systems of the business using the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations platform. Delivered the source of truth system including an Opportunity Management System underpinned by CRM, significant business efficiencies including reduction in errors across multiple disparate systems, reduction in facility footprint and reduction in data processing and analysis time.• Drove the cleansing of the company position hierarchy resulting in consistent taxonomy and terminology for positions and personnel data.• Established and grew the business intelligence framework using Microsoft Power BI, including data warehouse and descriptive and diagnostic analytics capability. Reduced report development overhead, data management errors and analysis time.

The SEA4000 Phase 3 Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) project delivered three world-class ships and their support systems to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) through an innovative alliance-based contracting strategy between ASC, Raytheon Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. The SEA4000 Phase 3 Air Warfare Destroyer project was placed on the government’s Projects of Concern list in Dec 2014 and the project reform review was conducted and completed in Dec 2015.Role:Reporting directly to the AWD Alliance General Manager (AGM), with a project reform brief to deliver the 3 ships and support system to the re-baselined cost (Approx. EAC $5B) and schedule (Ship 01 Jun 17, Ship 02 Jul 18, Ship 03 Dec 19). Established the AWD Alliance PMO to provide the project enabling services such as Project Governance, Project Management, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Resource Management, Contract Management, Quality Management, Acceptance Framework, IT network, Organisational Development and the Alliance Enterprise Management System (AEMS). Key Achievements:• Delivered HMAS Hobart to Provisional Acceptance and Operational Capability, delivered HMAS Brisbane to Provisional Acceptance. Supported the establishment of the initial sustainment capability in Sydney by providing Alliance delivery lessons learned and technical expertise. • Directed and drove the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) to re-baseline the program cost and schedule to the reform brief. Successfully controlled the program cost and schedule to provide significant savings against the reform budget.• Established the AWD Alliance Acceptance framework, including contractual requirements tracking, structured correspondence framework, technical and contract review processes and boards, customer, and stakeholder review processes.

Role:Led the Transition Support Period framework development for the AWD Alliance to provide asset management and a suite of other services, including training and engineering facilities to ensure the ships were both mission capable and available for service. Key Achievements• In support of CASG, established the Command Team Trainer at HMAS Watson, Combat System Through Life Support Facility at Fleet Base East.• Sustainment strategy Approved for implementation by CASG and the RAN.• Command Team Trainer and Combat System Through Life Support facilities delivered in within the reform timeline and budget.

The Home Port for the 3 Air Warfare Destroyers was designated as Fleet Base East at Garden Island in Sydney, which included the housing of the Combat System Through Life Support Facility (CSTLSF). The Command Team Trainer (CTT) was situated at HMAS Watson and system trainers were established at the Navy System Training Centre (NSTC) at Randwick barracks.Role:Reporting directly to the CEO AWD Alliance, managed the P&L, set the enterprise, including policies and procedures and managed the multidisciplinary and multi company / entity team in Sydney of approx. 200 plus team members.Key Achievements:- Established and managed the AWD Sydney hub to support the development of the infrastructure to home port the AWDs and the support system facilities.- Project managed the delivery of the Combat System Through Life Support Facility and created a fit for purpose area within the industry participants facility.
