Vision Accendo is a leading LED Lighting Manufacturer based along the South Coast. My role is to support the business by providing the sales team with comprehensive lighting designs and CAD drawings.

I was the customer facing representative and was responsible for beginning and nurturing lasting business relationships with local and national clients. These would include electrical contractors, industrial and commercial, Facilities Maintenance companies, schools, colleges, universities and hospitals, and a host of other businesses with an electrical supply need.

I began with the company as holiday relief, and quickly became permanent and worked at various sites around Hampshire. I started working in the Weighbridge offices as an operator, and rapidly began running these stations. I also became involved in consultations for a new computer system, training of staff, and assisting in the implementations of new procedures at the head office.

BDC/Fosters were a subsidiary of the Bridisco Group, based in North London. They sell wholesale to both the retail and trade and specialised in electrical contracting products and white and brown goods.From conception to outfitting, recruitment and finally to the grand opening, I enjoyed good involvement. Once open, for the next five years I delivered healthy growth year on year, managing a staff of fourteen people, and a stock profile of £1.5m.
