Entrepreneurs' Infrastructure Programme Business Adviser
CurrentEntrepreneurs’ Infrastructure Program (EIP) offers easy to access practical support to small and medium businesses to improve business capability and competitiveness, promote economic growth and support the commercialisation of new ideas.The programme offers advice, assistance and tailored support to businesses through three streams a) Business Management, b) Research Connections and c) Commercialising Ideas. Eligibility criteria apply.Business Evaluation is a part of EIP which includes a holistic analysis of the eligible business carried out on-site by skilled and experienced Advisers. You will receive a Business Evaluation Report accompanied by a range of recommendations for improvement. A Business Growth Grant of $20,000 is available on a Co-investment basis to cover some of the cost of engaging consultants to implement one or more of the recommended improvements. To be eligible for a Business Evaluation applicants must be in one of the following Sectors, or else demonstrate commitment to, and the skills, capability, intellectual property or expertise to operate in, one or more of the sectors listed in the future: a. Advanced Manufacturing b. Food and Agribusiness c. Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals d. Mining Equipment, Technology and Services e. Oil, Gas and Energy Resources f. Enabling Technologies and Services of the sectors listed in a – e above. Must be incorporated; non tax-exempt; registered for GST, show ongoing trading for at least three consecutive years; annual turnover or operating expenditure in any one of the past three years • between $1.5 million and $100 million or; • between $750,000 and $100 million for applicants from Remote Australia; Must be Solvent; complied with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012; not participated within the EIP or Enterprise Connect Programme in the last five years. Individuals, partnerships and trusts not eligible however an incorporated trustee may be eligible.
