Being promoted from Rig Manager & Special Projects Manager to Drilling Superintendent has been a journey of hard work and rewarding experiences. Currently supporting 4 rigs in the PDO Lekhwair field. This is a field based, rotational position with a 210 well contract with Halliburton CPM b2b contract with PDO. Day to day tasks include planning ahead and engaging all departments and tools at my disposal to create value for our company and the client. Daily breakdown of the QHSE summary in the client morning call as well as operational updates. Regular rig visits with spot checks and inspections, following up on rig based enhancements. Approving material requests and organizing services. Responsible for 320 people on board in 4 main camps. Daily, Weekly and Monthly Meetings. Delegating tasks to all departments and collaborating with Maintenance on the PM and non routine jobs. Daily interactions with the client handling requests, updates and initiatives. Managing monthly R&M budgets, balancing the rigs between budgets and spare parts. Managing Logistics between the rigs and transfers of equipment. Managing HR issues related to the Omani Labor Law, Leaves, Overtime and Consequence Management. Following up with Supply Chain and prioritizing urgent requests. On scene command and investigations when needed. 24/7 on call and much more to list.

Worked in the HH commissioning yard located in Guanghan, Sichuan, China. Represented Valiant Oman Oilfield Services as the on-site commissioning representative during the build of Rigs 36 & 37. Witnessed, observed and recorded successful commissioning as well as discrepancies to facilitate a smooth and productive rig up to spud in Oman. Client is Halliburton CPM b2b contract with PDO. • Rig 36 & 37, HH built 1200hp, AC/VFD, Cyber Automated Rig Floor, Racking System & Pragma Catwalk. After being promoted within the company from Night Tool Pusher - Enjoyed 2 years working on Rig I-30 for the client CCED in Block 3 & 4 and 1 year working on Rig I-33 for the new client Halliburton CPM b2b contract with PDO. - Fully understanding of both Viking International and the Oil Company client's Quality, Health, Safety and Environment programs.- Regularly supervising critical operations, including but not limited to: Drilling ahead, over pull and working stuck pipe, mitigating differential sticking, well control techniques and policy, BOP drills with H2S and without, reviewing kill sheets and trip sheets, tripping out and in open hole, changing out BHA assembly, installation and removal of bit sub float, torque up bit, rig service and repair, inspection of drawworks brakes and drilling line, oversee all tourly safety checks, such as crown saver, floor saver, TIW check. - Complete BHA tally's and Pipe Tally's.- Complete casing tally's and oversee the handling and preparation of casing, liner's and associated tools.- Prepare fishing tools with Fishing Hand.- Conduct regular walk-arounds, helping Assistant Driller's and Driller's to organise and delegate tasks.- Mitigation of Hazards, training and encouraging the Stop Card program.- Working with multi national crews and third party companies to conduct pre-job safety meetings, with re-assurance of understanding for all people involved.- Oversee and help with selecting proper JSA's, Safe Work Permits, Pre-Job Safety Meetings and Hand Over Meetings. - Complete daily drilling and IADC reports.- Organize and run pressure testing operations with accurate charts recorded.- Assist the Rig Manager and Oil Company representative with all tasks.- Coordinate heavy lifts and organize pre-job safety meetings for the same. - Coordinate and plan rig move operations.
