Providing a support network for our subcontractors and employees through developing and implementing efficient management systems. Placing orders for materials and equipment, negotiating prices with existing and new suppliers. Keeping all cost information up to date via a database, passing this information on to the Estimating Department for use in tendering. Organising training for employees as and when required, dealing with the CSCS affiliated scheme to ensure all workers are registered accordingly. Carrying out paryroll and accounts duties on a weekly basis for for our team of employees and subcontractors. Liaising with H&S consultant for development of our H&S policies. Creating policy statements and distributing these across the hierarchy of the company.Internal auditing of our information and systems to ensure compliance for the company's accreditations.

Answering directly to the Operations Manager and responsible for multiple contracts throughout the UK, as the contracts manager I am the main point of contact for clients, site managers and building contractors through the life of a build, keeping projects on programme and within budget.  Develop and maintain good working relationships liaising with clients, management teams, H&S, sub-contractors and suppliers to maximise efficiency. Allocate works to operatives and monitor for quality, performance and compliance. Ensure all works are carried out as per the Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS). Create, modify and revise RAMS’s as required at site level. Organise, control and monitor the supply and storage of materials and supplies to sites. Control programme progress and evaluate resource requirements to achieve agreed milestones. Identify quality issues early in the contracts life enabling efficient rectification and minimal impact on costs, monitor any changes made and report direct to Operations Manager. Manage teams through effective communication with the site supervisor, toolbox talks and one to one conversations. Measure performance through quality sheets, programme milestone achievements, utilisation of company transport and local labour where possible. Ensure cooperation of site operatives relating to PPE, housekeeping and safe systems of work  Provision of cover for Operations Manager during holidays periods
