    Answering directly to the Operations Manager and responsible for multiple contracts throughout the UK, as the contracts manager I am the main point of contact for clients, site managers and building contractors through the life of a build, keeping projects on programme and within budget.  Develop and maintain good working relationships liaising with clients, management teams, H&S, sub-contractors and suppliers to maximise efficiency. Allocate works to operatives and monitor for quality, performance and compliance. Ensure all works are carried out as per the Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS). Create, modify and revise RAMS’s as required at site level. Organise, control and monitor the supply and storage of materials and supplies to sites. Control programme progress and evaluate resource requirements to achieve agreed milestones. Identify quality issues early in the contracts life enabling efficient rectification and minimal impact on costs, monitor any changes made and report direct to Operations Manager. Manage teams through effective communication with the site supervisor, toolbox talks and one to one conversations. Measure performance through quality sheets, programme milestone achievements, utilisation of company transport and local labour where possible. Ensure cooperation of site operatives relating to PPE, housekeeping and safe systems of work  Provision of cover for Operations Manager during holidays periods
