• Following Embark's purchase of ATS, my role and remit of Senior Dealer continuedKey outputs. SME for Dealing for Embark Platform, supporting the implementation of any new and existing developments. Input and review.
• Acting as deputy to the Dealing Team manager to run the Embark Platform Dealing Desk to ensure we are providing a high-quality level of service to clients.
• A point of escalation for complex or technical issues that arise on the desk.
• Delivering training and support to other members of the team
• Daily control checks in the absence of the Dealing Manager.
• Provide instrument expertise as business requirements dictate

I chose to try learn in another department within the wider Embark group and joined Investment Service team on a secondment basis. The role would also allow me to learn more about Embark Platform and the client base, proposition etc. Key outputs - Management of corporate action function within the team. Lead and participate in escalation and weekly update.

• Promoted to Senior Dealer in May 2017 and now working on a desk of 10 dealers executing trades for Stocktrade and Alliance Trust Savings clients.
• Leading the Dealing Desk in the absence of the Dealing Manager.
• Relationship building with new and existing market counterparties.
• Test SME for dealing with ATS partnership book migration to Embark platform
