Responsibility across 9 facilities with an extensive workforce encompassing manufacturing, supply chain and logistics within UK, France, Egypt and India.Regional production capacity increase ramping up of a new manufacturing plant in India, double digit net margin increase, product migration and new product introduction.Development and approval to implement a multi-million pound income improvement plan across a core product category through Asia sourcing and value engineering.

Reporting to the managing director and responsible for establishing a cost effective and productive UK operation and customer service function, covering 6 production facilities, warehousing, distribution, global sourcing, supply chain and customer services.Sustained manufacturing income via a program of cost reduction and multi-product global sourcing initiatives during a period of market price reduction and volume decline across core product categories.Achieved year-on-year revenue growth and improvement in margins through a package of service and operational improvements across the Consumer Contact Centre, with responsibility for all field service staffApplied value engineering, consolidation and capacity strategies to reduce product cost across various bathroom product categories.Drove achievement of strategic growth within UK and Europe through relocation and build of a new multi million pound manufacturing plant, increasing capacity and flexibility through increased automation and workflow design.Negotiated year on year unionised pay agreements enabling operations to meet business and customer obligations despite the threat and realisation of industrial action, achieving fast resolution through shrewd negotiation and mitigation strategiesEffective use of manufacturing system design, operations management and engineering competence the design of a new manufacturing plant in India. Specified and negotiated the introduction of a new manufacturing process leading to global installations.
