I am responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the team's peripheral applications, ensuring that they align with the constantly evolving business needs. To enhance the turn-around time and meet the high demand for changes, I employed strategies such as executable configuration, unit testing, and refactoring to deliver superior results. In addition, as a member of the team, I am accountable for fixing bugs and implementing requests for the trade management and reporting application.

As a member of the group supporting middle office operations for the Tender Option Bond (TOB) desk, I took the lead on a project to upgrade and migrate to the TIBCO BusinessWorks platform. I was responsible for establishing a new environment, executing code changes, collaborating with the vendor (DTCC) on testing, and deploying the final updates. After the migration, I proposed a plan to modernize the Java Swing frontend and hundreds of stored procedures/scripts using service-oriented architecture (Apache Camel/TIBCO BusinessWorks).

As part of a 12-developer team, I was responsible for the management and maintenance of over 400 FIX-line handlers. My duties included continuous system improvement, customization of line handlers, bug fixes, and analysis of FIX messages. Alongside my manager, I also made critical decisions on restarting and shutting down line handlers during live trading. In my first six months, I took the initiative to enhance the build script and reduced the deployment failure rate to 0% in the final quarter of 2010. We also improved the system stability, as evidenced by a decrease in the number of issues recorded in the issue tracker. In addition to my formal responsibilities, I served as an unofficial mentor to two graduate hires in the group, providing guidance and support on fixing challenging system defects.

As a project team member, I teamed up with PM & end-users to design & implement a client/server system for capturing real-time market prices & generating Deutsche Bank tradable prices. I handled system design, implementation, deployment, & support. The project took nine months & Deutsche Bank ranked in the top tier in price availability & quality. The design incorporated a feature for a quick change to rate volatility, which proved to be critical during the 2008 financial crisis. After deployment, I pushed for system refactoring & failover drills, maintaining stability while adding new features.

Work as the sole second level support engineer for the trade posting system. The system handle all trading desks within the firm. The stability of the system has improved dramatically, from one to two incidents per month to less than 2 per quarters.Once the system achieved significant stability, sister processes and reports were built to monitor the system continuously, which allow the system stability to be held in a high level.
