Working on a contract basis (inside IR35) based at the Local authorities’ offices in Merton, I am leading the delivery of the borough’s Capital works projects providing a full design and technical response service including, Client engagement ; Project Management; Development of business case and budgets; Feasibility studies; Site surveys; Development of schedules of works; Defects Investigation; Pre-Tender Estimates; Design and Specification including preparation of AutoCAD drawings, Scopes of work, Materials & workmanship and Tender Documentation; Procurement through Pro-Contract portal including all documentation, tender evaluation and appointment of contractors; Planning and Building regulations applications; Contract Administration, issue of certification and invoice validation to final account; Contract financial reporting; income management and management of department budgets. Projects include refurbishment and remedial works to Schools; Libraries; Leisure Centres; Cemeteries; Public buildings; Conversions & adaptations; Council data centres; Car parks and Sports facilities
