Work as a electronic engineer. The job duty mainly focus on developing and testing electrical and electronic devices. My specialization are magnetic and electric simulations of power electronics which involves the use of commercial software package such as Matlab, Altium, Ansys, Comsol, Solidworks and etc... I am also an expert of high frequency magnetics design such as high power density inductor and hundreds kHz transformers. Projects I have or currently working with:1. Advance High Frequency Four Quadrant 30 kVA dStatcom - In particular working in control system, circuit simulation and mangetics design2. High voltage and high efficient 250 W Resonant DC/DC Converter - A converter that can be directly used to charge high voltage batteries (up to 1000V) with giving the benefits of galvanic isolation and >97% efficiency. I

My research funds are generously provided under the QLD government Advanced Fellow Ship Schemed. This position would not go ahead without the support of Elevare Energy, Planet Ark Power, Queensland Micro Nanotechnology Centre (QMNC) as well as the administrated support from Griffith University.I am currently participating in the following projects but not limited:1. 4kVA EV On-board Charging System with Four Quadrant Control Function - The EV charger is capable to provide active power and reactive power regulation for the grid system.2. Wireless Magnetic Coupling Enhancer - This is a novel and unique device that improves the magnetic coupling from a fundamental point. The wireless magnetic coupling is usually around 0.3, and the coupling enhancer can easily improve this coefficient and also reduce the EMI noise.3. 20 kVA 4 Legs Conveter Demonstration Bench - The converter composed with four switching legs can easily configured with any switching topology. Its now being configured as a three phase bi-directional inverter but can be easily converted to other topologies upon on the demonstration requirement.Research projects during these period
