An accomplished mechanical & electrical engineer, with extensive experience acquired in the maintenance and production of avionic and mechanical equipment in the aviation and automotive sectors. As a Team Leader, supervised a team of up to 5 personnel carrying out routine aircraft servicing, and cabin reconfiguration and refurbishments, as well as engine changes (Rolls Royce and GE) and landing gear changes, before moving to casualty and problem resolution maintenance and repair.Currently an Electric Power Systems Technician at MTS Systems since 2015, working within a small team assembling high power density electric motors used in the automotive industry and motorsport (Formula 1 and Formula E). This includes dealing with logistics and liaising closely with suppliers/vendors. Played a key role in successfully setting up the production, encapsulation and test facility in a new UK office. Achievements include developing processes and documentation for quality parts inspection, calibration of tools and equipment, logistics, goods in/out, assembly and test procedures; also managing the introduction of new designs into assembly and test including creating accurate work instructions and the development of assembly jig/fixtures and quality inspection documentation.Skills include a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Highly analytical, able to follow logical processes and quickly identify the root of any technical issue.
