Working independently, this position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, bidding, and documentation of engineering related support activities. Performs project non-technical duties and acts as process and tool expert for engineering design teams. Use DOORS, ClearCase and ClearQuest as well as Microsoft Office Suite including EPM.* Support the ordering and tracking of the shipment of equipment. * Assist in the tracking and/or maintenance of program/project schedules, action items, financial and milestone performance, risk management tools, and tasks in the change management tools. * Assist in the preparation of internal and customer presentations and monthly reports. * Builds stable working relationships internally. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel in engineering group or Engineering Project Support department. * Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Follows established policies and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization or project.
