Community Services - Senior Center

After a little more than a year of retirement (and doing mostly nothing), I have decided to give back a little. I drive a bus (among other various duties) to assist senior citizens in getting out into the world and experiencing life. I usually work a couple of days a week.Since March, when the Covid pandemic started, I have been delivering hot meals to the seniors in New Castle County since they can't get out to shop and/or come into the center for companionship or hot meals.

-Oversee the coordination, scheduling, routing and dispatching of buses-Recruit, oversee training and supervision of all Cecil transit employees-Collect, analyze and formalize accurate data for local, MTA and NTD information and input-Initiate departmental transportation policy review and operational/safety procedures-Work with the MTA regarding funding, planning, transit policies and procedures-Research and preparation of all technical bid specifications-Prepare training schedules, conduct classes and quarterly safety meetings
