My sales territory was all of Utah, and parts of Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming.The industries most often sold to are large OEM's, mining, energy, and fabrication.While working at Ryerson I worked with programs such as SAP, excel, word, power pointsand many others.Control of customer owned material and day to day stock items and the MRP.In the beginning Ryerson delivered out of Denver in to all my territory and after only 1year, Ryerson open a new location in Clearfield, Utah and hired 12 more employees.Over the 3 years of employment I hit my goal every quarter, even in a down market.Selling aluminum, alloys, stainless, carbon, in every shape and form.

I was the area Rep for steel mills and aluminum extrusion mills around the world and sold to distribution, large OEM's, fabrication, mining, and energy industry.

I started with British Steel Alloys in 11/93 as a warehouse worker and my duties includedbut were not limited to the following:Cutting, pulling, shipping, and loading of material to deliver to the customer. In salesI would forecast the material movement, train new employees, oversees inside and outsidesales.In 1998 I was promoted to Warehouse MGR and transferred to Valencia, California in astartup branch.In 2000 I was promoted to Sales MGR when the plant mgr. had passed away.In 2004 Corus was purchased and the Valencia, California branch was closed down due to the merger.

I was in charge of 20 employees on night shift and we would pull and load 10 flatbedtrucks, over 400,000 pounds a night, which would be routed and delivered the followingday.

I started working for Associated Pipe in 1988 as a pipe fitter apprenticeship and myduties included but were not limited to the following:Grinding, welding, sand blasting, fusion bonding, and many more duties that would preparethe pipe for production.I left in 1991 due to viewing a death of a coworker while on duty.
