Duties Included- Working at Platform Engineering Team, to help customers integrate intel X86 core to their mobile SoC product.- Help customers improve performance & power consumption on Android OS.Major Achievements - Enable F2FS on Intel platform, which improves UX performance over 20%.- Enable SDCARDFS on Intel platform, which improves media file performance over 2~3 times.

Duties Included- Working at Oneplus “Performance Lab”, which aimed to improve performance, IO throughput and power consumption on Oneplus Android phone products.- Improve storage driver and file system performance.- Implement and maintain kernel drivers/modules to support Oneplus’s performance improving features.Major Achievements - Implement user-experience improved io-scheduler. Which identify the io request from front APPs, and boost its throughput.- Improve Linux/Android file system performance, includes:Enable F2FS file system, improves write throughput 200%.Back port FUSE write-back cache from Linux mainline to AndroidEnable SDCARDFS, improves app launch time and reduces cpu time.

- Working at Intel Taiwan Customer Technical Support team. Support for customer’s questions, issues and performance enhancements on Intel mobile platforms with Android OS. Mainly focus on the following domains:Linux kernel drivers porting, debug and performance improving:Storage drivers: eMMC & SD card.IO drivers: UART, SPI & I2C.GPIO, IRQ and IOAPIC.Intel BSP drivers: PMIC, FW interface.- Help customers to bring up new projects/boards- Document writing and training courses to enable customers for Intel’s latest mobile platform and tools.

- GSM Layer 1 development and power consumption optimization for dual SIM dual standby on TI Locosto platform.- Android development on Qualcomm & Intel platform, including device driver porting and board bring up.
