The Associate Director of BI is responsible for ensuring that MATRIX has the information it needs to make educated decisions at all levels and across all business functions of the company. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following.• Work with all levels of the company to understand key performance measures/indicators that drive company measurement and success.• Understand how those KPMs/KPIs track against overall business strategies, goals, and objectives.• Work with the Executive Team to prioritize the reporting and analytical needs of the company. • Work with the various business functions of the company to ensure that systems and business processes lead to the accurate collection of critical data.• Where necessary ensure that the integration of systems at MATRIX leads to accurate collection of critical data.• Research and evaluate trends, products, and solutions in the Business Intelligence arena for potential use at MATRIX.• Work with technical teams and vendors to develop and/or implement reporting and analytical solutions that meet the needs of the company.

Responsible for the successful ongoing operation and development of internal software applications and integration of hosted services used by MATRIX entities in all locations.

Responsible for the development efforts related to MATRIX’s technology migration. The software development team included personnel of various skill sets including a Lotus Notes/Domino programmer, Java programmers, and a DB2 DBA. Worked in conjunction with the MATRIX Project Management Office to ensure that the most critical business needs are being addressed. Personnel responsibilities include resource planning, hiring/firing decisions, performance reviews/appraisals, and coaching/mentoring.Technological responsibilities include strategic planning for the migration, working with project sponsors and the PMO to prioritize development initiatives, and evaluating technological tools and solutions.

Coordinating the maintenance and development efforts of MATRIX’s core business application, the MATRIX AJC. Providing informal leadership for MATRIX’s team of six software programmers. Project management responsibilities that included creating work break down structures, scheduling tasks, creating risk management plans, managing issues, and communicating with the project stakeholders.

Maintenance and support of internally developed Lotus Notes applications. Involved in all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
