Serves as the principal advisor to the PEO, DPEO, and Strategic Integration Directorate for Strategic Portfolio Analysis and Review (SPAR) involves analyzing and developing an annual 15 year investment plan for PEO STRI. Promptly review, prepare, coordinate and manage Commanders Critical Information Reports (CCIRs). Manage System Training Plans (STRAPS), Statement of work (SOW), Specifications (SEP) and management document prepared by IPTs for use in acquisitions, identifying training development shortfalls and recommended changes and improvements to comply with organizational policies, service, DOD and Federal acquisition policies and regulations. Manages, review, prepare, the staffing of Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs/MOUs) 1114s, 7600A, 7600B and other reimbursable agreements between PEO STRI and other organizations. Conducts briefings for presentation to General Officers, Senior Executive Service, senior level management of the joint staff, Office of the secretary of Defense (OSD), Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), and Assistant Secretary of the Army(Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) (ASA(ALT) regarding PEO STRI activities, programs and priorities.

Serves as the principal specialist for all logistical matters in the 143rd ESC G4 Assistant Chief of Staff. Responsible for providing technical guidance and assistance on these matters to the supported command and units. Exercises responsibility for the internal control management program for the Maintenance, Transportation, Food Service, Supply & Services, and Resource Management sections. -Advises the Commander and staff concerning logistics operations.-Exercises managerial authority to set near term and long term work plans and schedules for work. Ensures all 99 subordinate units implement the goals and objectives of the command.-Exercises supervision over daily activities of a full time staff of 45 members consisting of Civilians, Soldiers, and Contractors.-Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and sets and adjust priorities.-Manages the development of the yearly budget for Reserve Personnel Army andOperations Maintenance Army Reserve funds to support the unit. Establishes internal auditing controls to insure that all funds are expended for mission related items and that funds are available to support requirements. Responsible for all aspects of the annual budget process. Develops and submits Annual Statement of Assurance IAW applicable deadline and guidelines.-Manages command facilities ensures USAR Center(s) are efficiently maintained, operated, and controlled, consistent with current directives and regulations.

Enforce division policy, define procedures and provide recommendations ensuring effective and efficient support is provided to the Directorate.
