I have 40 years experience in undertaking, managing and commercialising research in the field of organic chemistry. This experience has been gained in large multinational chemical companies, academia, government and in SME's. I am an Adjunct Associate Professor at The University of Western Australia, a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I have founded and managed two successful technology companies, Epichem Pty Ltd, a contract synthesis and drug discovery business, and Nanollose Ltd, a company creating new and sustainable ways of making cellulose-based products, particularly textiles.
