Loc is a full service manufacturer of large CNC machined components and assemblies for powertrain, chassis and suspension systems used on military and commercial applications. Loc has considerable expertise with gears and gearboxes. Loc manufactures the Final Drive Gearboxes for every US Military Tracked Vehicle. Loc also manufactures the gearboxes used in hybrid propulsion systems on medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles.Loc offers complete design, prototype build, validation testing, low rate initial production and full rate production services to our customers. We can completely design and build products to customer requirements, build to existing customer designs, or support our customer at any design improvement level required. Our validation test equipment includes various dynamometers, hot and cold boxes, immersion tanks, and gear fatigue test stands.Loc operates out of a modern 265,000 square foot facility. We employ approximately 250 personnel. Loc is vertically integrated, performing over 90% of required operations in house. Our facility contains over 130 machine tools including CNC Machining and Turning Centers, CNC Gear Hobs and Shapers, CNC Internal and External Gear Grinders, CNC OD/ID Grinders, Induction Heat Treating and Tempering Equipment, Broaches, a complete tool room and two inspection labs. In addition, Loc offers coating services including zinc phosphate and alodine pretreatment, prime and top coat painting. Loc is a fully approved CARC painting facility. Our coatings are verified in our in house wet lab.At Loc, I lead a team responsible for our business relationships with our commercial customers and several of our US Military Vehicle OEM customers.
