Head of Quality Engineering responsible for bar-raising business-wide quality and rapidly improving CSAT for EMC’s flagship Storage Management offering. Achieved in-field quality improvements within 6 months, reducing escaped defects by 50% and increasing customer upgrade adoption by >60%. Improvements resulted in 400% decrease in escaped defects from development with >100% decrease in release cycle times, resulting in productivity gain returns of >$10M. This led to CSAT of ~90% and org transformation from “throw-over-the-wall development” to “all-for-one” DevOps ownership.
