Soles4Souls was founded after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami after Wayne witnessed the immense need for footwear around the world. There are estimated to be 300 million children that are shoeless because their families are too poor to afford footwear. Under Wayne’s leadership, Soles4Souls became one of the top 1% of nonprofit organizations in the United States. To date, Soles4Souls has distributed over 17 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries to victims of natural disasters and abject poverty. Wayne resigned Soles4Souls in early 2012 leaving it with a solid mission, strategy, team and balance sheet.

Developed and implemented the US roll out of a heritage brand based in Canada. This included marketing, product, operations and setting up the operation in Tennessee.

Developed and implemented the overall marketing, operation, product and financial strategy to poise the company for growth after several tough, upstart years. We completely revamped the entire strategy to better position the company for the future.
