About Wayne England
https://vimeo.com/840992059?share=copySome background context:In 2009, with multiple awards (including VES win and Emmy nomination), over 14 years in the visual effects industry and wrapping on an elite team of FX artists on the 2012 feature film, I founded my own VFX company. A little over two years later that company was sold to Chinese owned Phenom Films, based in Beijing. I became Phenom LA's executive producer, simultaneously fulfilling roles as VFX supervisor and director. This led to a large variety of projects including my:- VFX post supervising (in collaboration with Magnopus), a large part of the Chinese funded Martin Scorsese short film: "The Audition", featuring DiCaprio, De Niro and Pitt.- VFX supervising a Roland Emmerich produced indie feature.- VFX supervising and lead previs artist, providing shot development previs animation for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar premier trailer. - Directing an iconic live action commercial [Don’ Mess with Texas], with associated high-end FX I also VFX supervised.- Directing an 8-minute, stereo-immersive theme park 4d ride film, in China.Beyond Phenom (and seeking a real time project) was VFX supervisor and art director on a huge Carnival interactive project; was a VFX supervisor for the feature film T34, followed by becoming an onset VFX Supervisor for HBO's season of Daemon Lindelöf’s "Watchmen".Following that, I aligned with FuseFX where I spent three years as a VFX supervisor, primarily post supervision (creatively supervising teams and finalizing shots), but also a good dose of on-set supervision. This involved a wide range of projects such as 'Loki" for Marvel Studios and many other major network and studio productions for Netflix, HBO Max, Fox, Hulu, Amazon Studios and others. Most recently I’ve been developing original content with Unreal Engine 5 while evolving a deep knowledge of the program and its range of applications. My artistic background includes winning a VES award as CG Supervisor, a Clio award and Emmy nomination as lead FX and CG artist. Through my career I've come to deeply value "the art" of working with teams to realize extraordinary outcomes.VFX SupervisorCreative Director / Immersive Content Creator Real-time Interactive Art DirectorCommercial DirectorTheme Park Stereo Immersive 4d Ride Film Director Musician and Published Writer

On set VFX Supervisor for HBO’s acclaimed: Watchmen. I worked with VFX Supervisor Erik Henry, directors Stephen Williams and Nicole Kassel, D.P. Art Director / Vfx Supervisor / Creative Director
Targeting a real-time VFX project: Art Directed and VFX Supervised the look, feel and methods in creating the primary front end 3d appearance of Carnival Cruise’s groundbreaking global, 3d interactive platform (involving over 35 companies). Using Unity, Perforce and integrating a large arsenal of 3d content creation software, I evolved the pipeline for a team of 16 artists which I lead into realizing some stunning real-time 3d interactive environments. In the process I worked closely with a team of programmers while conceiving of tools and programming tasks required to realize necessary functionality and appearance. From 'on the box' establishing the underwater lighting and layout "philosophy", to presenting to the global project leads in Miami, nice to play such a pivotal role on this massive project, while working with a great team. Primary creative collaborator (project creative director) Adam Leonards.
