What greater joy to experience when people in your F2F channel gets promoted knowing that they didn't have it easy at all, but through determination and making their dream(s) become a reality by encouraging them, motivate and continuously train them to do better is what excites me. Having a small team delivering or producing more sales than our other channel, it was a no brainer to be partner up on a new journey on a new business venture with the business by building a world class persal brokerage. In this time in the F2F channel it has taught me that even in tough times people can shine and outgrow their circumstances. One should go through the struggle in order to get the price, some did, others didn't, it's a choice we all have to make. To the one's who did and still growing themselves through personal development they're just another step closer owning their own Business.

Being a Business Developer it's not just how you can find or create new business for brokers, but also see you can expand their business on existing clients by simply pulling a book report, view what benefits existing clients have vs new benefits and products. Sales are considered to be easy, the hard work, or actual work starts with the after sales service. Any one can sell you almost anything, but it takes a special person with integrity, responsibility by taking accountability on the promises (services) made and actually follow through with it ensuring it remains a win-win philosophy for the Broker, Client, Business and yourself.

When being presented with something new, a total career change one could stay in one's comfort-zone, or choose to grow further and not just test one's skills, but expand them is what drew me to be part of one of the top Momentum franchises in Gauteng. Having build most of my book through referrals is what gained me to be in the top 300 (275) out of a 1000 brokers as a strived by delivering the needs of my customers. Being of service one should also have it within you to help develop those who struggle building relationships, setting appointments, closing the deals etc, for individual success might be great, but as a company, combined success is a greater achievement. Having helped, guided some brokers to achieve the optimal best was truly great. From lapse ratios decreasing and clients staying on the books, from 1st appointment closing the deals instead of a 3rd and 4th appointment was something magical. Clients stay clients simply because there's no relationship, but when clients become friends, that's when you know you have done them a great deal for it was what was in it for them, and not what was in it for me as a Broker that still today, we're still family.
