I provide user support for both internal and external users of OneStop and the Field Inspection System (FIS). Additionally, I coordinate business user testing, write test cases and perform user testing scenarios in the UAT environments, ensuring system interfaces are working as expected and data captured by our systems are being stored accurately.As part of the ongoing OneStop development, I participated in the development and implementation of the Inspections project of OneStop. Our project team moved flaring/venting and pipeline construction notification functionality from FIS to OneStop. Once the project was complete, I along with our training team provided training to both internal and external users on this new functionality of OneStop.After the Inspections project ended, I then became the lead tester for the Methane Monitoring and Reporting (MMR) project. Currently, I coordinate quality assurance testing with the business SMEs to guide them through writing and performing test cases and track bugs for prioritization and retesting. The project recently implemented functionality for Benzene Emission reporting under Directive 039 and Peace River fugitive emission reporting under Directive 084. We are on the last legs of the MMR project with Methane reporting under Directive 060 scheduled for release in September 2019.

Working in the Environment and Operational Performance Branch (EOP), I provide system administration and business analysis support for the Field Surveillance Inspection System (FIS). I provide direction to our development team in regards to system enhancements and prioritize system defects to be corrected.I also spend a great deal of time training users how to best use the system for maximum efficiency. Additionally, I write SQL query code to help extract statistical data from our Corporate Database.To date, my biggest accomplishment has been the successful implementation of FIS' rewrite from VB6 to Microsoft .NET. This was a major, three year project where I was the lead subject matter expert and business analyst. My time on this project was spent liaising between users and the development team, requirements gathering, ensuring business rules remained intact, UAT coordination and developing a roll out/communication plan.

I came up with a solution to satisfy unhappy customers who refused to pay their bill due to charges they incurred from Calgary Police response to false alarms. They felt the alarms were caused by a flaw in the ADT systems or installation. I negotiated with the customer by offering to pay the false alarm fee if they agreed to purchase guard service and a lock box. Not only did this accomplish a reduction in our A/Rs, I also sold an incredible amount of lock boxes and at the same time increased our monthly revenue generated by each one of those customers.
