Responsibility for a broad spectrum of legal and business affairs including a wide variety of contractual/transactional/commercial matters, domestic and international television channel distribution, syndication and production agreements, employment and consulting matters, rights acquisition and licensing agreements, contracts administration, real estate acquisition and leasing agreements, television network formation, advertising and marketing issues, intellectual property matters, compliance matters, regulatory work, government affairs work, the legal issues associated with the operation of professional sports franchises and the organization and staging of major international, multi-sport athletic competitions, external counsel retention and supervision, litigation management, the legal issues associated with the establishment and operation of businesses in multiple foreign jurisdictions and the hiring and supervision of other in-house attorneys both domestically and internationally.
