Represented the Secretary of the Army as a Military Legislative Assistant for an appropriator chairman in the House of Representatives. Drafted legislation seeking cost efficient partnerships for homeland security; managed the Congressman's Defense, Transportation, Homeland Security appropriations accounts for a one year term, justifying and securing over $50M in appropriations for the DOD and the constituents of the 1st District of Georgia. Served as the strategist and adviser to the Army''s senior four star general, writing hearing statements, developing engagement strategy, and analyzing pending law implications for the Army's $150 B enterprise.
