Currently I am responsible for strategic development and all day-to-day operational activities, but my key skills and strengths are;LEADERSHIP: I am a strong confident leader, able to build a team with a shared purpose. I equip, guide and support the team so they can flourish. I have sharpened my leadership skills across a range of organisations.I thrive on the responsibilities and challenges that come with leadership and having an executive, figure-head role. I am also happy to submit to others who have authority over me, such as working in close partnership with trustees.My leadership values are, Servant Leadership. Integrity. Generosity. I am target driven and want to give my best in all I do, but I am also compassionate, interested in the welfare of colleagues. COMMUNICATIONS: My written communication and presentation skills are excellent. I am involved in the delivery and/or oversight of all communications with key stakeholders. From setting the communication plan, selecting channels, understanding audiences, ensuring there is consistency and measuring effectiveness.TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT: Regular training and support are essential to give staff clear expectations and for them to thrive. I have implemented programmes that encourage CPD alongside practices that promote wellbeing.I am highly motivated and energetic, meaning I can work effectively on my own and I am also an excellent team player and enjoy investing time in the development and growth of others. I am still passionate about teaching (my experience includes 5 years as a teacher). I have been invited to lead training by many organisations, including to undergraduates. I am an enthusiastic lifelong learner.ANALYTICAL THINKING: I have an entrepreneurial spirit, where others see problems and challenges, I am often able to see opportunities. I recognise the value of policies and processes and the importance of working within agreed boundaries, while also being flexible and adaptable, responding promptly to changing circumstances. I believe the unique (and unusual?) combination of character, values, experience, and skills I have, would enable me to successfully fulfil any role I am given to a high standard.
