Currently I am responsible for strategic development and all day-to-day operational activities, but my key skills and strengths are;LEADERSHIP: I am a strong confident leader, able to build a team with a shared purpose. I equip, guide and support the team so they can flourish. I have sharpened my leadership skills across a range of organisations.I thrive on the responsibilities and challenges that come with leadership and having an executive, figure-head role. I am also happy to submit to others who have authority over me, such as working in close partnership with trustees.My leadership values are, Servant Leadership. Integrity. Generosity. Openness.My leadership style has been described as ‘calm under pressure’, ‘thoughtful and discerning’ and ‘collaborative’.VISION SETTING AND STRATEGIC PLANNING: I have the creativity and ambition to set a clear and realistic vision, as well as the attention to detail to develop a strategy and oversee its operational delivery. I am target driven and want to give my best in all I do, but I am also compassionate, interested in the welfare of colleagues. COMMUNICATIONS: My written communication and presentation skills are excellent. I am involved in the delivery and/or oversight of all communications with key stakeholders. From setting the communication plan, selecting channels, understanding audiences, ensuring there is consistency and measuring effectiveness.TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT: Regular training and support are essential to give staff clear expectations and for them to thrive. I have implemented programmes that encourage CPD alongside practices that promote wellbeing.I am highly motivated and energetic, meaning I can work effectively on my own and I am also an excellent team player and enjoy investing time in the development and growth of others. I am still passionate about teaching (my experience includes 5 years as a teacher). I have been invited to lead training by many organisations, including to undergraduates.
