Was also a key player in development of backup mode capability and software startup configuration for the OFP.Developed the requirements for C++ use of the Interface Definition Tool as the tool for maintaining interface definitions – both 1553 and High Speed Data Network (HSDN) – and auto-generating avionics interface code from them The resulting tool has been used by F/A 18 AMC, F/A-18 SMS, AV-8B, T-45, F-15, and X-45, resulting in auto-generation of code at approximately 1/5 the cost of the manually-generated equivalent.
