Mechanical Engineering Project Supervisor
CurrentConstructing projects from detailed engineering drawing stage through to commissioning and hand over to operations. Projects carried out on all areas of refinery including crude area, alkylation unit, fccu, also offsites and jetty. • Verifying construction activities are executed in accordance with project budget and schedule highlighting deviations and suggesting possible solutions.• Verifying construction work is compliant with piping specifications.• Liaise with construction engineers.• Enforcing all aspects of safety management system as part of the refinery team delivering tool box talks and also completing permit to work audits.• Co-ordinate all service support trades i.e. scaffolding, shot blasting, painting, civil and crane lifting co-ordination.• Insulation, pipe fabrication, structural steel fabrication and witness pressure testing.
