This role has the direct responsibility for Officeworks distributed infrastructure landscape, which includes End User Computing Devices, Remote (site based) servers & UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Printers, Scanners & Copiers, Microsoft and Security Technologies, Microsoft Cloud Computing and Network Infrastructure. This role deliver’s strategic direction, analytical leadership, and engagement across multi-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment, with a focus on the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft technologies. This role leads 4 distinct teams. Hardware Co-ordination End User Computing.Microsoft Server and Securities.Networking and Infrastructure. One of the primary purposes of this role is to enable the systematic and consistent approach toward the management of end user computing devices, Microsoft Infrastructure Software, and security applications. Ensure the development of a repeatable and transparent approach to the procurement and deployment of new store hardware and store technology updates. Enable the team to contribute to the development of consistent operational process across the IT function. Lead the creation of task automation and new platform features that are aligned with Officeworks’ enterprise and domain architecture. Oversee that the Disaster Recovery Plans are maintained in such a way that they will function as intended during actual disaster scenarios.
