My Why: Use my career to help people in their time of need.The topic of my dissertation was the effect of a leader's humility on team performance. It was the first quantitative research on leader humility with a population in the Western Hemisphere. Since publishing in February 2023, the research has been used in 25 countries and as curriculum for doctoral students.I consider myself to be the least humble person I know, so I forced myself to do my doctoral research on humility.
