As the plant Maintenance and Reliability Lead, I am responsible for the management of the maintenance department as well as oversight of plant facilities, fleet, and materials warehouse. I give direction to the plant maintenance supervisor for the execution of condition based, project, and preventative maintenance work. Act as the project owner for the Lyondellbasell Tuscola site closure and demolition, and work directly with the project manager to ensure timely and cost-efficient execution of abatement and demo as well as site investment recovery efforts. Assist with the creation of purchase requisitions and purchase order resolution via SAP/Ariba.

As the Production Maintenance Coordinator, I am the liaison between the production and maintenance department as it pertains to maintaining the assets in the process units. This role reviews the work requested for appropriate scope and justification and provides maintenance with appropriate priorities based upon business needs, production needs, and budget constraints. The PMC represents operations in the maintenance process and is accountable for the execution of HSE and Regulatory required maintenance work, ensuring preventative maintenance (PM) compliance, coordinating regular and routine maintenance work, and maintaining schedule compliance.

As Operations Specialist for the Microthene F Specialty Polymers and Alcohol Denaturing units I amaccountable for achieving the unit’s HSE, reliability, production, and efficiency goals by providing technical support for the daily operation of the units.Job responsibilities include:Participate in the following site safety programs: weekly unit walk-arounds, MOC design safety reviews, incident investigations, and PHAs, etc. Work with business & operations planning groups, engineering, and maintenance groups to align around plant operation and production/business needs. Provide assistance to Operations Department personnel to maximize plant reliability and efficiency.Resolve process problems through troubleshooting/historical knowledge and implement solutions in a timely manner. Set unit priorities to accomplish daily and strategic initiatives. Issue daily process unit operating instructions. Investigate unit and equipment upsets and failures, unit downtime and production rate reductions. Partner with engineering and reliability groups to determine root causes and issue technical solutions to achieve unit goals for production, reliability, quality, and efficiency.Accountable for adherence to the unit maintenance budget. Work with PMC to prioritize maintenance work for planning and execution. Provide updated operating and startup/shutdown procedures to Operations Technicians. Evaluate and improve existing procedures and develop new procedures to maximize plant HSE performance, reliability, and efficiency. Work with engineering to update safe and normal operating ranges in support of the plant's PSM compliance. Assist in improving the Operations Technician qualification and requalification process. Participate in qualification process by grading tests and conducting job walk throughs and chalk talks. Actively participate in the mentoring of Operations Technicians, Supervisors, and Production Engineers.
